This policy explains what information GreenOLT (GreenOLT) handles and why.
Information we handle
Account information: company name, your name, email, phone, username and a password stored only as a one-way hash.
Network information you connect: OLT and router details, ONU serial numbers and MAC addresses, signal and status history, configuration backups and the log of changes made.
Subscriber information you enter: for example customer names, phone numbers, addresses and plan details. You decide what to enter and remain responsible for it; we handle it for you only to provide the service.
Billing information: invoices and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the PayU payment page and are not stored by us.
Technical information: sign-in records, IP address and browser type, used for security and to find faults.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, show your network, send the alerts you turn on, issue invoices and take payment, give support, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information.
Who it is shared with
Only as needed to run the service:
- PayU, to take payments.
- The WhatsApp / SMS / Telegram gateway used for the alerts you enable (your own gateway if you set one up). Recipient numbers and the alert text are sent to it.
- Our hosting and network providers, including a content delivery and security provider that carries web traffic.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Security
Portal passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, and ACS, notification-gateway and worker credentials are stored encrypted. Access is limited by company and by role, sign-in has attempt limits and optional two-step verification, and changes are written to an audit log. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect a problem.
How long we keep it
Signal and status history is kept for a limited period that the platform sets (30 days by default) and old rows are removed automatically. Configuration backups are kept for the period set in Config backups. Company data is kept while the account is active; you can ask for it to be exported or deleted. Invoices are kept as long as accounting law requires.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a security token to protect forms, and, if you choose "Remember me", a sign-in cookie for 30 days. Our delivery provider may set its own security and analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, and you can turn off alerts at any time. Write to us:
